Thank you Nick Rousseau for sending us this picture today of a rock fall at Saltdean/Telscombe Cliffs. If you look to the right of centre of the top image you can clearly see where the cliff face has crumbled and left a large pile of loose chalk on the beach. Nick told us that he thinks it was about 100 to 150 meters along (in an easterly direction) from the end of the Undercliff Walk in Saltdean. We don't know how near to the A259 coast road on the top this fall is. The second picture is the area of the collapse enlarged. We would advise staying clear of this area for your own safety.
