Guitar hero! 12 year old Freddie Allen of Peacehaven Community School is busking for Sussex Cancer fund in memory of lost loved ones
From Freddie's JustGiving page: My name is Freddie and I am 12 years old and I go to Peacehaven Community School.
I am taking part in a school 'tenner' challenge where we have been given £10 and we need to use it to earn as much money as possible in the next 4 weeks. We get to keep all money earned over the initial £10. Instead of keeping it for myself I have decided to donate any money I can earn to Cancer. I have chosen the Sussex Cancer Fund because it's local which means that it will be helping people that I may know who could suffer from cancer in the future.
Raising money to beat Cancer is very close to my heart as I have lost two people very special to me to cancer, firstly my Grandad who was only 61yrs old and more recently my godmother who was only 44yrs.
I love to sing and play the guitar and I really enjoy performing to an audience so I decided to use that to raise money for this cause. I will be arranging to sing at a few local places, this will also include busking for the first time!
Every pound helps so please give what you can for this great cause.
Thank you so much, Freddie.
Freddie will be performing in the Peacehaven & Telscombe Football Club Clubhouse on March 16th between 5pm and 6pm and at Molly's Cafe, Rottingdean Beach (weather permitting) on the 23rd March at 1pm.
