Tony Frisby: Hi all - am attaching a photo to remind myself of how fortunate I am to live down here in Brighton. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for all who arrive here; despite the enormous efforts of charity workers, the wet streets offer little comfort to a homeless person on a wet, cold and windy night and a cramped, overcrowded space little privacy or comfort to an already traumatised refugee family.

So the second thing I've attached to this post is a reminder of the event on the 30th September when, with many other poets and loads of musicians, I will be reading at a Charity gig for Homeless and Refugee Charities here in this extraordinarily welcoming city of Brighton.

Details below - all poets and musicians ready and rearing to go and ALL proceeds go to the charities. What we need now are loads of bums on seats, so thanks to those of you who have already said YES and a big invite to everyone else - would love to see the venue packed - the more people / the more money for the charities.
Do come if you can.

Tony
