Newhaven Coastguard has once again urged people to stay away from the cliff edge.
On their Facebook page Newhaven Coastguard posted:

Newhaven Coastguard
Job 140. 13.35. 13.October.18
Team called to Seaford Head after receiving reports of a significant cliff chalk fall.
We once again urge you to please keep well away from the edge and keep your dogs on a lead as more falls are likely and little or no warning will be given.

If you are walking under the cliffs try to stay well away from the base. If possible as much as the cliff is high. (example for a 50 meter cliff stay 50 metres away),

If you believe someone is in difficulty on the cliff, beach, or in the sea, Call 999 and ask for Coastguard.
