Following his important maths exam Mr Bean decides to unwind with a pop down to Peacehaven Beach, but finds a little difficulty in preparing for his swim.
First broadcast on New Years Day 1990, in the pilot episode of the popular TV comedy Mr Bean, played by Rowan Atkinson , sees the much loved bumbling character having some trouble with his modesty on the seafront at Peacehaven.
After the long walk down the steps at Friar's Bay he discovers there isn't anywhere suitable to change into is swimming trunks, thinking he is being watched by a man (played by Roger Sloman) nearby sitting on a deckchair, Mr Bean devises a way of putting his swimming gear on over his trousers as not to expose himself. With a little twist in the end it turns out that all his fumbling and contorting wasn't actually necessary!
