The sunny streets of Brighton & Hove were witness to amazing scenes today as thousands of people gathered to protest that not enough is being done to stop the threat of global climate change. Many young people were among the crowds who waved Extinction Rebellion flags and held placards with slogans urging world leaders, global business and politicians to act now to address their concerns of a catastrophic future if Planet Earth's temperature continues to rise, a fear which is supported by extensive world scientific research. Figure head for the climate strike action school girl protester Greta Thunberg tweeted ''Brighton, England #FridaysForFuture #ClimateStrike. ' Feature image by Heather Moston.
