Telscombe Town Council have voted to reinstate the 'Tye Commons Committee' to give the community a say on how the Tye is managed and to work with the Council on issues regarding the Tye.
The committee will be independent of the Council and will help deliver the public aspirations and exceptions for this precious public space. Councillor Christine Robinson will be leading the formation of the Tye Commons Committee.
Message from Cllr Christine Robinson (Lab)
East Saltdean Ward, Telscombe Town Council
"I am absolutely delighted that the Telscombe Town Council meeting on 21st November 2018 approved the revival of the Tye Commons Committee. This will be a community led committee for the whole of the community as it has been made clear to me that residents have real concerns over the management of the Tye. The inaugural meeting will be held early in the New Year and if you would like to be involved please don't hesitate to contact me"
