What do you do?
I am Director of Three Pillars of Fitness Personal Training. I deliver bespoke fitness and lifestyle programmes to clients, who the big box gyms forgot, often these people are:

- Sedentary and lack confidence to use a conventional gym
- Looking to gain strength (particularly core) after having a baby
- Over 50 years old
- Suffering Pain and need relaxation

How did you get into it?
Random answer coming up… I was studying accountancy, I thought it would offer a steady future and income, I was a pretty poor accountant! I needed to be good at something and I knew my lifestyle needed to change (I was over 21 stone – aged 21). I thought I’d have a go at improving my food and move a bit more! It was a now or never moment.

In total, over 2 years I lost 8 stone and have kept most off for 10 years now. I always loved coaching and want help others to see their potential.

What's the best thing about what you do?
Being able to offer comprehensive lifestyle solution to clients, often in their own homes, I work with clients predominantly through exercise (Pillar one,) the progress that can be made in a relatively short period of time is incredible, helping people to gently improve their nourishment (Pillar two) and seeing their mind set and self-confidence improve (Pillar three) is truly satisfying!!

What’s the most difficult part of what you do?
Overcoming the quick fix mentality of many (including big brands) and distilling the myths fed to us by the media - Quick fixes don’t last!

What advice have you got for people who’d like to get into what you do?
Set yourself up to succeed……. Can you really lose ½ stone in  a week, keep it off and be healthy? Building a sustainable, healthy lifestyle is like building a house, ONE BRICK AT A TIME!

Get in touch to discuss YOUR lifestyle priorities using a complimentary consultation, or to arrange A 7 DAY CLASS TRIAL (6 sessions a week and growing).
